Therapy for
Kids & Teens
Are you the parent of a child who doesn’t seem as happy as they used to be?
When you’re raising a child, you want them to grow up feeling confident, brave, and knowing how to manage challenges that come their way. But being a kid and teen is hard these days with the pressure to fit in, deal with homework, and friends and sports in your free time.
We’re here to support you in raising a confident and happy child.
ADHD & Anxiety are two of the most common mental health challenges kids will face. Many kids find that they are struggling in a cycle of catching up on their homework and at the same time feeling too overwhelmed to even get started on it.
When your child doesn’t feel like they can get these things done, it can take a hit to their self esteem. You may have noticed that they’re saying negative things about themselves and they don’t feel like a good kid anymore.
If you’re worried about your child’s self-esteem, we’re here to help you and them feel confident and self-assured. We will give you and your family practical tools and strategies to:
Use coping skills when they’re needed the most
Be brave even when things are tough
Help your child be less of a worrier
We’re here to support your family
When you reach out to us, we’ll schedule an introductory call with you so that you can learn about what to expect out of the therapy process and to make sure that we’re a good fit for working together. At our first session, we’ll meet with you and your child together to go over expectations, goals, and confidentiality.
At the end of our first session, we’ll provide you with recommendations on type of treatment, length of treatment, and how often we would suggest we meet with you to achieve your goals. We’ll be working together to ensure that your child will feel more confident than before.
